TODAY, 24th October 2009, Lee Min Ho came to this blazing red dot. and lucky me, I GOT TO SEE, MEET, GREET and SHAKE HANDS with him. the tall, handsome, shy, humble Lee Min Ho, here. :D
DISCLAIMER: if you are pissed off with me, fine, whatever. I won't take it to heart. cuz at the end of the day, the person who met him in the end, was me.
woke up around 8. I was real excited, seriously hyperventilating when I told myself that I would meet him TODAY. SO, got ready, unsteadily. I was running about the house trying to find the things I needed, even when they were right next to me.
left home about 10.15. I had to reach St. James at 11 to get my tag number. we had breakfast and made our way there. I had expected a huge line of girls lined up in front of Movida, but surprisingly, no one was there, at all. got my tag number, V43. :D
I was thinking about meeting him at the airport itself, so I told mom when we were in the car, let's go to changi! of course, I didn't take it seriously. butt, when mom finally processed everything in her head, she shot up in the car and pulled dad by the sleeve when we were at a stop.
she was like, " THIS IS MY ONLY CHANCE TO SEE HIM IN PERSON, BRING US THERE, N.O.W. " blimey, it was hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing throughout the journey there, cuz dad was telling mom to produce a boy so that he could have some 1 on 1 male time with a son.
SEE, that is why you should have appreciated me more when I was less, girl-like. :D
arrived at terminal 1 and it wasn't too hard to find his arrival belt. girls were swarming the place like pests. :D the aura was intense. you could feel the excited souls of the girls, screaming " SARANHEYO LEE MIN HO! " even when he wasn't there yet. it's corny, but hey, they're passionate.
when an announcement about his flight's luggage stuff, everyone started screaming. haha. then did we notice something. somebody came out, and everyone started screaming. too bad though, it wasn't him. just some guy who had the same hairstyle. .__.
BUTT, the wait, was over a few minutes after. Lee Min Ho was striding down the changi floors, triggering the screams. I manage to get a video, but it was real shaky. he was so humble, so SHY! he had his head down most of the time, but that charming smile of his was forever there. he did look up a few times, smiling widely and waving to us. oh, when he did, the screams grew. :D
I pulled mom and ran through the crowd to see him get into the van. hahaha, it was real fun. :D mom was bragging to dad about how she got to see him and stuff, hilarious. but I must say this, photos don't do any justice to him. he looks amazing up close.
had lunch at Vivo before making my way to St. James again. loads of people were already anxiously waiting. I made a few friends while waiting. :D us VIPs entered first, finally escaping the terrible heat.
it was dark, the party lights were flashing, the air-conditioning was fantastic. everything was SPECTACULAR. we waited a while for Lee Min Ho. I made so many new friends, FROM ALL AROUND THE WORLD! I sat with a whole group of Thais and they were super friendly! I also met some Filipinos, Indonesians, Japanese, Malaysians and even Koreans! all under 1 roof, just for Lee Min Ho. tsktsk. ;D
I was drowning in ecstasy when he arrived. seriously, I'm pitying those girls who couldn't make. he's indescribable. :D the questions asked were so LOL, and it rocked. I even screamed his name once when it was quieter, and get this; he turned to me, looked for a while, smiled leeminho-ly, and waved. THANK. THE. GOOD. LORD.
the 50 VIPs got the autograph session! :D that was real cool. myself and my newly made friends were in line, being one of the last few, probably like 7 people behind us. when I was behind my friends and when it was my turn to step on stage, the guards stopped me.
obviously, I got pissed. so here's what exactly happened.
me to the buff looking guard: question sir, I can't get Lee Min Ho's autograph?
buff looking guard: no. sorry. [ a very low, I-don't-care tone ]
-at this point, the snakes and dragons were all released.-
me to buff looking moron: excuse me, I paid $____ for this event. [ voice is slowly increasing, the fires from hell almost exploding ] trust me sir, if I don't get Lee Min Ho's autograph, your management will be hearing from me. [ waits for reaction ]
another buff looking guard interrupts: [ he looks at the moron then at me ] I'm sorry for that miss. you'll be the last one.
don't mess with me. :D
real sad for the 7 behind me though.
when it was my turn, I was too happy. he's so handsome! seriously. I had to shake it off a bit, AND HE LAUGHED! :D I said anneyonghaseyo to him, and he smiled and said the same to me. he started signing his Etude House folder, so I asked whether he could speak english, and he smiled and said a bit! :D:D as I took the file and the goodie bag from him, he ALREADY had his hands stretched out for a handshake! I'VE GOT LEE MIN HO COOTIES ON MY HANDS YO! :D
he said THANKYOU and waved to me. so I said, kamsahamnida and hwaiting to him. he smiled and waved again. I LOVE MYSELF, I really do. I couldn't get a shot with him, sadly. oh well.
